Mackerel Skies and Reflections

from £95.00

Mackerel skies are a type of cloud pattern characterised by a sky filled with rows of small, white, rippled clouds that resemble fish scales, hence the name “mackerel sky.” These cloud patterns are usually formed by altocumulus or cirrocumulus clouds and are indicative of specific atmospheric conditions.

Tray frames offer a modern way of presenting and preserving the art work.

The print is displayed without the need for glass, as it has an invisible matt layer that protects the print surface from UV damage, water and scuffing. The print is made on archival grade fine art paper using pigment inks to ensure a lifetime of vibrancy.

Dimensions of the tray frames: The visible part of the frame, when viewed straight on, is 6mm wide. When viewed from the side, the frame is 3cm deep. The wooden frames come in three different  natural finishes: charcoal, light walnut and white washed.

We offer various sizes as standard, but can easily create custom sizes on request with no set up costs.

All the photographs are hand signed by the Artist and are printed and framed in the studio in Cornwall.
